The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has issued an official announcement dated March 20, 2024, revealing that a re-examination will be conducted for the SSC GD Constable exam 2024 at select centers. This re-examination pertains to a total of 16,185 candidates who participated in the 81 exam shifts previously conducted. Scheduled for March 30, 2024, the SSC GD 2024 re-exam aims to ensure fairness and accuracy in the assessment process. Only candidates who appeared for the initial SSC GD Constable exam will be eligible to participate in the re-examination. It’s important to note that the SSC GD exam 2024 has not been canceled; rather, it has been rescheduled for certain centers due to technical issues. Candidates who were part of the earlier examination need not fret, as their answer sheets will undergo thorough evaluation by the Commission. Only those individuals whose examination centers are specified in the SSC GD exam center list 2024 for re-examination are required to participate in the upcoming exam session.

SSC GD Re-Exam 2024:-

The Staff Selection Commission has issued a notice regarding the re-examination for the Constable position. As per the notice, the re-exam will cater to 16,185 candidates. Individuals who took part in the initial exam can find the updated exam dates here. The original examination took place from February 20 to March 7. However, due to technical challenges encountered at certain venues/dates/shifts, a decision was made to conduct a re-examination. The re-exam is scheduled for March 30, and it applies to all candidates whose exams have been rescheduled. The venues and exam dates/shifts for the re-exam are provided in the list here. According to the official statement, “Only those candidates who participated in the Computer Based Exam for Constable (GD) in Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs), SSF, and Rifleman (GD) in Assam Rifles Examination, 2024 conducted by the Commission from February 20, 2024, to March 7, 2024, will be eligible to appear in the re-examination.”
